Focus on the Casamance and the removal of twelve Senegalese deminers South African company Mechem by a faction of the Movement of Democratic Forces of Casamance (MFDC). This group requires particular government a firm commitment to stop mining in areas occupied by the separatist movement. A condition that seems to reject the authorities. : "We are ready to negotiate, consider all the proposals we will make, but one that is not negotiable: the sovereignty of Senegal Casamance".
