GENDER IMBALANCE IN EESC: Women of Bby hardwire Macky Sall

Women "Benno Bokk Yaakaar" (Fbby) joined the action to the word. Having raised his voice to what they call "gender imbalance" in the list of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council(Cese), they have officially sent a letter on Tuesday to President Macky Sall to complain it.
Women "Benno Bokk Yakaar" is desperate to see the president of the republic to rectify this by reworking the list of members of the Economic and Social Economic Council (Cese) to put more women. In this letter we hold copy, women Bby say remain "aware that the parity law passed in May 2010 concerns only elective or semi-elective office," but they argue, the issue of women's participation has in recent years become a central issue in development strategies. The emphasis has always been, according to these women, "the key role they have to play in the realization of democracy, good governance and economic reconstruction." Women "Benno Bokk Yaakaar" find the gender imbalance in decision-making bodies remains a challenge in the governance bodies and decision-making bodies. They launch a heartfelt appeal to the President of the Republic to make greater efforts to increase the representation of women in the Cese and the highest decision-making bodies. Many business leaders are aware of the positive influence of gender balance on economic performance. Several economic arguments today justify a greater diversity: women in positions of responsibility acquire strong organizational and financial performance. They are driving creativity and innovation because they bring knowledge, skills and additional experiments. From this point of view, they improve, according to the coordinator of women Bby Adji Mergane Konaté, the quality of decision-making, governance and ethics of the structure. Women "Benno Bokk Yaakaar" urge President Macky Sall, to build the pool of women from all sides. If access to decision-making bodies is difficult for women, women remain under-exploited talent. Women "Benno Bokk Yaakaar" support have preferred to work on concrete proposals for the promotion of women instead of sit-ins and marches. They encourage President Macky Sall to change the composition of Cese to reach fifty three women hundred fifty members or women over thirty, from all sides and all skills designated by the bill.HAROUNA FALL
