MACKY SALL AU FORUM DE DOHA: "L'AFRIQUE OFFRE DE NOUVELLES OPPORTUNITES D'INVESTISSEMENTS DANS LES SECTEURS DE L'AGRICULTURE, L'ENERGIE ET LES INFRASTRUCTURES"



 


The President of the Republic of Senegal, Macky Sall, on Monday attended the opening of the 13th Doha Forum, alongside His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of Qatar. During his speech at the forum, which was attended by other personalities like Gordon Brown, former Prime Minister of England and François Fillon of France, the Senegalese president has made advocacy of Africa, ensuring that investments are profitable and the business environment will be much better. "In my capacity as President of Nepad, I would say that our countries offer new opportunities for profitable investment in key sectors of Agriculture, Energy and Infrastructure," said the Head of State Senegalese. Sall said that Africa is experiencing an economic and democratic renewal. "Despite the weight of the past and challenges of the present, our country and our continent settle in a positive dynamic and do not want to be left out of the new world order in the making," he said.
Senegalese President pays an official visit to the emirate in the Persian Gulf, the world's richest per capita. Tuesday, he has a meeting with His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, which offers a lunch in his honor. The two leaders will discuss bilateral and international issues.
