Let' Reform Drug Laws
West Africa has become a hub for international drug trafficking over the last decade. Organised crime syndicates are operating in West Africa to ensure safe passage of drug cargo through the region and local consumption of these drugs has increased substantially. These developments pose serious threats to the Africa's public health, to peace and to stability.
After 18 months of research and consultation, we will on 12 June publish our findings and call on West African states to reform to drug laws and policies. We must protect the poor & vulnerable while going after the big fish. We also call on the international community to support us. This problem is global.
