Ten AQIM fighters were killed in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday by fighters and French helicopters.
Ten AQIM fighters were killed in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday combat aircraft and helicopters in the French Valley Amettetaï in north-eastern Mali, said Thursday, 6 March the Minister of Defence, Jean-Yves Le Drian.
The group was spotted by Reaper drones recently acquired by France, the minister said a few journalists, confirming a report in "Le Figaro". "These are the drones that the French army was now in place have identified these groups are manipulating rockets, which resulted in a coordinated action with hunting and Reaper" has he said.
